Fighting With Teenage Daughters

An argument with a teenage girl can leave a parent exhausted and considering the benefits of boarding school. Girls by nature tend to be dramatic and complicated. They often lose their ability to adequately communicate when they are angry and can become irrational. These traits, while not indicative of every teenage girl in the world, are fairly common among most teenage girls. If your daughter can argue reasonably and without turning into someone you simply can’t recognize, then consider yourself extraordinarily blessed. If your daughter reverts into an alternate personality and can’t seem to string together basic logical reasoning, you can consider yourself just an average family.

Indianapolis 500 Auto Racing Theme Party Country Western Style

The average Indianapolis 500 party is either held as a theme for someone’s birthday or as a pre-race event before and sometimes during and after the big race. However you can add a dash of country western style and make the party even more interesting and fun, because an additional theme adds a plethora of new activities for guests. Why not open up a dance floor and blast out some good ole’ country music for the guests to dance too? Doing the electric slide sure builds up an appetite and the guests will be craving your delicious BBQ. Of course any party with a country western twist and Indianapolis 500 fans need to have some great BBQ.

Abuse By Rejection

While neglect is certainly the most common form of rejection, there are some children who are raised in fierce, open, and active discarding by a parent. Here, there is no subtlety.

Some adults have never gotten over the vivid image of a father’s icy stare signifying hateful contempt for the very personhood of the child. This kind of clear and total rejection is never fully overcome but can be carried, scars and all, if one’s value is restored through intensive, insight-oriented therapy aimed at throwing off the lies communicated during childhood.
