Pregnancy And Alcohol - Could They Cause Long Term Effects?

Categories: Home and Family, Travel and Leisure | March 1st, 2008 | by admin | no comments

Alcohol consumption by women is a relatively new phenomenon. A couple of decades ago, most women did not take alcohol regularly. The scientific community has been shocked recently to witness the birth of babies with severe growth retardation, a small brain, small and narrow eyes and an overall permanent development retardation.

It did not take long before the medical community was able to link this syndrome to the fact that mothers of these babies had consumed regular or good amount of alcohol during their pregnancy. Proving that alcohol can pass through the placenta was then a simple step.

Take Your Next Vacation With Children

Categories: Travel and Leisure | February 17th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

When traveling with children, do not feel that you have to limit yourself to traditionally child-oriented places like Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida. Children can actually be stimulated by a wider variety of destinations besides children’s theme parks. Kids do not need specialized stomping grounds with cartoon themes on their vacations. All they need are attentive parents willing to stick by them and teach them something on their next holiday. Additionally, you will have a great time too and do not have to get worn out on hot dogs and roller coasters.

Signs Of Cheating Wife

Categories: Travel and Leisure, Women | February 13th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

It is important for all married people to be able to detect the signs of infidelity in their spouse. It is more difficult to catch cheating women red handed, than catching cheating men because women are very cautious by nature and tend to leave behind no signs of their infidelity. If at all a husband confronts his wife (with or without conclusive proof) she will first shed tears to drown her husband and as if this was not enough, she will pour out a stream of lies (such as this is my friend, almost like my brother, blah, blah, blah) which is enough to make her husband remorseful and force him to regret and apologize to her for ‘daring to misjudge her chastity’.

Grab Your Bird Watching Hat And Enjoy

Categories: Travel and Leisure | February 12th, 2008 | by admin | no comments

Whenever you begin to think that you’re a “rare breed” just because you enjoy bird watching…think again. Over the years, I’ve met hundreds of amateur bird watchers who don’t have any particular claim to fame or expertise in observing our feathered friends.

Two Typical Bird Watchers

Take Ron Patterson. He’s just your average father who has been fascinated by birds for years. He grew up in rural Michigan on a farm, and he always found himself casting his eyes to the sky as he began mentally cataloging the tremendous variety of birds that passed through the area year after year. Now, 40 years later, he’s developed a passionate devotion to bird watching which includes quite a bit of reading and observations over the years.
